María Martín Serrano

Academic director

 

María Martín Serrano has a Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Alcalá and in Journalism from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She studied the Masters Degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language Teaching from Instituto Cervantes and Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo.

 

She has worked as a Spanish teacher both in Spain and abroad (Institutos Cervantes in Belgrade and Krakow). She is a DELE examiner and an expert in Spanish teaching for children and teenagers. She is currently working as a Spanish teacher for diplomats and professionals of several sectors. She combines her work as a teacher with teacher training (she frequently collaborates with Instituto Cervantes) and the making of instructional material for specialised publishers.

Edurne Sanz Puentes

 

Edurne Sanz Puentes has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and studied the Master’s Degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language Teaching from International House and Universidad Oberta de Barcelona. She has worked as a teacher in various schools specialised in Spanish teaching and in multinational companies with workers from several sectors and profiles. She has also worked in international schools with children and teenagers, and she has participated in a language teaching programme with elite sportspeople. She is a DELE examiner, SIELE teacher and has been examiners’ manager. She combines her work as a teacher with teachers’ training, she is part of the didactic team of Punto y Coma magazine, and she is the author of teaching materials.
